Release v.2.6.0

August 2026 Changelog | Sales channels: Online Store and Point of Sale

Written by Andrey Gadashevich

New features

👉 New: Choose sales channels for each offer

You can now decide where each offer applies: on your online store, in your physical store through Shopify POS, or both.

Where to find it:
Create offer → Advanced settings → Sales channels

Choose one or both:

  • Online Store: the offer and its widget work on your online store.

  • Point of Sale: the discount applies to orders placed through Shopify POS.

What to know:

  • At least one channel must be selected.

  • When only Point of Sale is selected, a banner reminds you that the widget and discounts won't be active on your online store.

  • Existing offers apply to both channels, just as before.

  • In POS, the discounted price can briefly show an old value when you change the quantity. This is a Shopify POS limitation, and the final price is always correct.

Fixes

👉 Discounts keep working when variants change

If a product variant used in an offer was deleted or recreated, the discount could stop applying at checkout even though the widget still showed. This is fixed, and affected offers apply correctly again.

👉 Optional texts can now be cleared

Removing an optional text such as the offer header, button text, upsell message, success message, highlight text or discount prefix now saves correctly. Before, the old text stayed after saving.

👉 More accurate "Conflicting products" warnings

Offers that target different variants of the same product are no longer flagged as conflicting. When two offers really do overlap, only the later one shows the warning, because the earlier one is the one applied at checkout.

👉 Other fixes

  • The offer table now shows when you add the app block to your home page.

  • The discount label at checkout and in POS no longer shows the discount amount twice.

  • The BOGO widget tooltip now shows above the tiers instead of behind them.

  • On mobile, the support chat button is no longer hidden behind Shopify's navigation bar.
